Opt-In Policy

Effective Date: September 17, 2026

This policy explains how people join our email list, what we send, and how to leave at any time. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy at https://www.thesecurerelationship.com/privacy-policy.

We Only Email People Who Asked

We do not buy, rent, trade, or scrape email lists, and we never add someone to our list without their action. Every person who receives marketing email from The Secure Relationship, LLC gave us their address themselves through one of the ways below.

How People Join Our List

You are added to our list when you:

  • Enter your email in a newsletter or sign-up form on our website

  • Take one of our quizzes and ask for your results by email

  • Download a free resource, guide, or script set

  • Register for a workshop, webinar, or live event

  • Purchase a course, membership, group, or coaching package, or buy from us directly

  • Book a consultation or coaching session

  • Ask us a question through our contact form or by emailing support@thesecurerelationship.com

  • Enter a giveaway, survey, or promotion we are running

At the point of sign-up we tell you what you are signing up for. Where a form offers an optional marketing opt-in, that box is never pre-checked.

What We Send

Depending on what you signed up for, you may receive:

  • Newsletters and educational emails about attachment, communication, conflict, and connection

  • Quiz and resource follow-ups related to the result or download you requested

  • Course, group, and membership emails, including onboarding, lesson prompts, and reminders

  • Promotional emails about our courses, groups, workshops, coaching, and books

  • Service and transactional emails, such as receipts, booking confirmations, access details, password resets, and notices about changes to something you bought

We aim to send useful email rather than frequent email. Send volume varies with what is happening in the business and with what you have signed up for.

Transactional Email Is Different

Service and transactional messages relate to something you purchased or booked and are sent regardless of your marketing preferences, because you need them. Unsubscribing from marketing email does not stop a receipt or a booking confirmation from reaching you.

How to Unsubscribe

Every marketing email we send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click removes you, and it takes effect immediately.

You can also email support@thesecurerelationship.com and ask to be removed, or ask to be moved to fewer emails rather than none. We do not require a reason and we will not ask you to justify it.

If you unsubscribe and later want back in, just sign up again through any form on the site.

Managing What You Receive

If you would rather adjust than unsubscribe, email support@thesecurerelationship.com and tell us what you want. We can remove you from promotional sends while keeping you on educational content, or remove you from a specific course or group sequence.

Group and Course Communications

If you buy a course, join a group, or become a member, you receive the emails needed to deliver that offering for as long as you have access to it. These are part of what you purchased. You can still unsubscribe from our general marketing separately.

Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your email address. What we collect and how we use it is set out in our Privacy Policy at https://www.thesecurerelationship.com/privacy-policy.

Text Messages

We do not currently send marketing text messages. If we start, we will collect separate express written consent for texting, tell you the message frequency and that message and data rates may apply, and honor STOP as an immediate opt-out. Signing up for email does not sign you up for texts.

Children

Our list is for adults. We do not knowingly collect email addresses from anyone under 16.
