Cookie Policy
Effective Date: September 17, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how The Secure Relationship, LLC uses cookies and similar technologies on https://www.thesecurerelationship.com. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy at https://www.thesecurerelationship.com/privacy-policy.
What Cookies Are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device. Cookies let a site remember things like what is in your cart, whether you are logged in, and how you got to the site. We also use related technologies that work in a similar way, including pixels (small invisible images that report a page view back to a provider), local storage, and software development kits.
Why We Use Them
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
Keep the website working, including logins, member areas, carts, and checkout
Remember your preferences
Understand how people find and use the site, which pages work and which do not
Measure how our emails, quizzes, and funnels perform
Show our ads to relevant audiences and measure whether those ads worked
Categories of Cookies We Use
Strictly necessary. Set by our website and commerce platform. These handle security, load balancing, logins, member area access, shopping carts, and checkout. The site cannot function properly without them, so they cannot be switched off through a consent tool.
Functional. Remember choices you have made, such as a dismissed banner or a form you have already completed, so the site behaves the way you expect on your next visit.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand how the site is used: which pages people land on, how far they get through a quiz, where they drop off, and which content leads to a purchase. This information is used in aggregate to improve the site.
Advertising. We use the Meta pixel, and may use advertising tags from other platforms, to measure the performance of our ads and to show our ads to people who have visited our site or taken an action on it. These technologies may be used by those platforms to build profiles of your interests across websites.
Third-party embeds. Some pages include content hosted elsewhere, such as forms, quizzes, schedulers, videos, podcast players, and spam protection. Those providers may set their own cookies when you interact with the embedded content.
Your Choices
Browser settings. Every major browser lets you see the cookies stored on your device, delete them, and block new ones. Look for Privacy or Cookies in your browser settings. Blocking all cookies will break parts of this and most other websites.
Analytics opt-out. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Advertising opt-out. You can adjust ad personalization in your Google account at myadcenter.google.com and in your Meta account settings. You can also use the industry opt-out tools at optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org, and on mobile you can reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device settings.
Global Privacy Control. We honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal as an opt-out of targeted advertising where our platform supports it. You can learn more at globalprivacycontrol.org.
Do Not Track. Browsers send this signal inconsistently and there is no agreed standard for responding to it, so we do not currently respond to Do Not Track headers. We do respond to Global Privacy Control as described above.
Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy as the tools we use change. The effective date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised.
