Coaching Is Not Therapy
The Secure Relationship, LLC is an education and coaching company. Our courses, groups, coaching sessions, workshops, quizzes, books, podcast, blog, and social media content are educational and skills-based.
They are not therapy, counseling, psychotherapy, psychiatric care, medical care, or mental health treatment, and they are not a substitute for care from a licensed professional.
Using our Services does not create a therapist-client, clinician-patient, physician-patient, or any other licensed professional relationship between you and us or between you and any member of our team. This remains true where a member of our team holds a professional license in another setting. A coach working with you is acting as a coach only.
We do not diagnose, treat, or prescribe for any medical or mental health condition.
If you are looking for therapy, we encourage you to work with a licensed provider in your state or country. Therapy services offered by the separate therapy practice affiliated with Julie Menanno are provided under that practice's own agreements and policies, not under ours.
Confidentiality Has Limits Here
Conversations with a coach, and anything shared in a group, are not protected by therapist-client privilege or by health privacy law. We ask everyone to respect the privacy of what is shared, and we hold our team to confidentiality obligations, but the legal protections that apply in licensed therapy do not apply to coaching or to peer groups. Please share accordingly.

Everything we publish, including podcast episodes, blog posts, quiz results, social media content, newsletters, and book content, is general information. It is not tailored to you, your partner, or your situation, and it is not a recommendation about what you specifically should do.
Do not delay seeking professional help, or disregard advice you have received from a licensed professional, because of something you read, heard, or watched from us.
