Episode #21- Attachment Styles: What is Yours? What Is Your Partner's? (and why online quizzes often aren't enough to tell)

Attachment style refers to the nature of relationship fears and how individuals manage them. Core fears include abandonment, failure, and mistrust. Anxious attachment is characterized by a fear of abandonment, avoidant attachment by a fear of failure, and disorganized attachment by intense fear and mistrust. These fears originate from primitive survival instincts. Different attachment styles affect emotional connection, comfort, caretaking, conflict management, and even sexual dynamics in relationships. While attachment styles are usually consistent, they can be flexible with intervention or significant life events.
