Episode #86: Trauma Bonding

Trauma bonding is one of the most misunderstood terms in all of relationships, and in this Secure Love Club session Julie Menanno finally clears it up. It does not mean two people simply triggering each other's old wounds. A trauma bond is a specific, repeating cycle, often called the cycle of violence, that moves through honeymoon calm, rising tension, an incident, and then a powerful make-up phase, looping in a way that becomes genuinely addictive and hard to leave. Julie walks through how this cycle forms, why the intensity gets mistaken for love, and why leaving feels so impossible even when you know you should. You will learn to recognize a trauma bond and understand the pull that keeps people in it. Clarifying and important for anyone who has heard the term and wondered what it truly means, or who senses they are caught in an intense, repeating loop. The full teaching is inside for members.
