Episode #34- Attachment Style Twist: “Soft” Anxious and “Escalated” Avoidant

Not every anxious partner is loud and protesting, and not every avoidant partner is calm and shut down. In this Secure Love Club session, Julie Menanno explores an important twist on the usual descriptions: the soft anxious partner and the escalated avoidant partner. She explains how the core attachment style still runs underneath even when the surface behavior looks reversed, and why this confuses so many couples into believing they are in an avoidant-avoidant or anxious-anxious pairing when they are not. You will learn to look past the presentation to the real dynamic at play, understand why your relationship may not have matched the stereotypes you read about, and correctly identify what is actually driving your cycle. Clarifying and validating for anyone who has studied attachment styles but felt like their relationship did not quite fit the mold. The full teaching is inside for members.
